Boulder Creek Cleanup Community Event

September 20 @ 9:00 am3:00 pm

FRA clean up

After a wonderful summer that saw thousands of people enjoying time in Boulder Canyon, we have noticed that many areas along Boulder Creek in the canyon are unfortunately full of trash. Join Front Range Anglers, Boulder County Parks & Open Space and other community members for a trash clean-up day to bring the canyon back to the beautiful place that we all love to spend time in.

Registration and check-in will begin at 9 a.m. at Front Range Anglers (2344 Pearl St.) and after car-pooling into the canyon, clean-up will begin at 10 a.m. We’ll wrap up the day back at the shop at 1 p.m. with a BBQ event!  With the water at its current low level, you are welcome to bring the whole family out to help. We’ll provide all the trash bags, but we recommend you bring your own gloves and wear clothes that you’re prepared to get dirty. Water levels don’t require waders, but you’re welcome to wear yours if you like. We do recommend wearing some type of footwear that can get wet and has good traction though (either your fishing boots, or river shoes).
