started fly fishing when new fly rods cost just $17 and black hefty garbage
bags passed as waders (due to my neglectful parents who never bought me anything).
Fishing for warm water species was my forté. I moved to Colorado 7 years
ago, and I’ve owned Front Range Anglers in Boulder for 4. I love the fly
fishing business and feel lucky to have the opportunity to spend my days
immersed in this world, even though the industry is under economic pressure
these days. On a lighter note, I have 3 little kids who are fast becoming
avid fly fishers. Conserving our resources for the future is my biggest motivation
for participating in Trout Unlimited, and I hope our chapter can make a difference
in our local environment.
